In 2006 alone, 24.7 million adults and Children were infected by AIDS only 16% have access to Medical Care. That same year 21 million lost their lives to the disease, leaving 12 million children orphaned and in need of care. Many organizations such as “Keep a Child Alive and Africare” are fighting to get the proper medication for those in need. We created A.F.R.I.C.A. so that we could raise money to help the organizations who are fighting to improve the lives of people and children who are suffering in Africa, in a fun and enjoyable manner. 100% of the proceedings are going to the organization “Keep A Child Alive” who are striving to get the proper medical supplies to those in Africa who need them. As human beings it is our duty to help those in need, not for monetary gain but for the assurance of having made a difference in someone’s life and possibly saving it. So please, donate or come and attend our event, any help we can give them will make all the difference.
