Chrystina Taylor:

Hello everyone, I’m in charge of booking bands and/or singers who are interested in performing for our A.F.R.I.C.A. Ball, I am also the person responsible for creating our flier which is featured on the Home page, and the one in charge of keeping you up to date about the advancements we have made and any changes we have made to the date, place, or time of the event then what we have stated previously. If you would like to perform at our event you can e-mail me at Cmtaylor990@gmail.com and for information and any update you can look at the Update section below.

I am a 17 year old student attending a prestigious school where arts and academics take center stage. I speak for myself and my other hostesses by saying that this event means a lot to all of us and we would greatly appreciate any and all the help we could get into making this event a success.

Christina Lara:

Hey there. I'm in charge of all things financial- funding the charity, looking for sponsors, and working with possible volunteers. If you're thinking about volunteering and have a question you're welcome to contact me at CJLara08@gmail.com. I'm also the designer of this website and I'm very proud of it.

I'm 17 and am looking forward to my senior year at a performing arts school in sunny San Diego, CA. I'm hoping I don't have a repeat of this last year where I ended up buried up to my neck in homework. So, future volunteers, don't be afraid to ask any questions you might have. The cause that we are raising money for does mean a lot to me, these children not only suffer through a disease that not even an adult should have to endure, their bodies endure the effects of poverty, malnutrition, and much more than just AIDS. While they have gained my respect for living through this with smiles on their young faces, I don't believe that these children and the future children of Africa should be forced to continue to live as they are now when we alone can do so much to help them.

Fernanda Sanchez:

I'm in charge of renting the property in which the ball is to take place, find caterers, and others willing to volunteer to help with food services for the ball, ticket sales, and locating volunteers on the day of the ball to help set up chairs, tables, information stands, and things like that. If you would like to donate any chairs, tables, or just volunteer you can e-mail me at IrishFlower08@gmail.com

I'm 17 and also attending the arts school in San Diego, CA. Now that I'm going into my senior year it is nerve recking and scary but not as scary as what these children are facing by themselves so please help us make a difference in the lives of many.
